I love finding articles that bring up ideas and practices I wasn't previously aware of,

presenting arguments for why they're ready for mainstream use. I see there are some reasoned and pragmatic arguments against the practice(s), but I don't think they invalidate a transition toward regenerative agriculture; they just indicate a need to move carefully, so as to not bankrupt farmers already living on a knife's edge. To me that seems fair. Short-term yields are essential, unless gov wants to step in and subsidize farmers while they make the transition. Also, I have heard more than once before how ludicrous bureaucratic red-tape has become in agriculture, so that needs dealing with as well (and no, not with DOGE-stye uncontrolled burning).
