Exactly. The hatred Musk's wealth generates is an indictment not of Musk himself, but of the culture that beholds him (and that actually created him). Billionaires are absurd and grotesque, and are a shallow byproduct of a culture obsessed with material wealth and the trappings of an overly narrow conception of success. So the disdain on display in many of the comments here is just misplaced disdain for a culture that's enslaved a huge chunk of the population. Fair enough; Musk is (somewhat ironically) just an emblem. But it's probably better to reflect on one's own hatred than to seek out others who will celebrate it.
